Spent a January weekend in the Lakes struggling
on Glaramara in a blizzard while people were being avalanched off
of Scafell! Sunday was spent with BTCV Hedge laying.

A Long weekend in Snowdonia, Pen yr Helgi Du and
Carneddau.

Scived off lectures 5 days in February for a stunning
ascent of Ben Lui in good snow conditions and adjacent munros. Then
some less nice weather above Bridge of Orchy on the tops over to Loch
Lyon and finally over to Tyndrum.

Camped ON Angle Tarn, Langdale in a very cold spell
and even managed a night in a snow cave that weekend.

Worked at BT Martlesham on final year project.

A solo long weekend from Tulloch to Glen Nevis
with a retreat from a high level camp on the Mamores after both tent
poles were broken in the overnight gales.

Finals finished, I walked the Yorkshire Dales 3
peaks with a bivi on Pen-y-ghent.

Graduated with a 2(i) from University of York.

Worked for a month at an outdoor centre in the
Lakes. Hard work. Tonnes of hiking, abseiling etc and learnt to canoe.

The Capricorn orienteering event was conveniently
in the Northern Lakes.

A weeks work guiding a YHA group on a walking holiday
in the Lakes, followed by some more orienteering events and hiking
including taking my Dad up Jack's Rake on Pavey Ark.

September I lead a 4 person backpacking trip for
three weeks to Sarek National Park in Arctic Sweden.

Started work for BT in Ipswich.

Third place in the Rodings Rally in Epping.
