Living

I live in Cambridge with Jean and our cat, Kakapo. We had a semi-permanent lodger, Kevin who has now left for a year in Nigeria with VSO. We've also had a host of people passing through either for a short stay or whilst looking for somewhere more permanent (and affordable) in Cambridge.

Paddling, Orienteering and Gardening are our active pursuits in Cambridge. I am keen on folk and/or acoustic music - see links left for venues & gigs. We normally see at least some of the annual Cambridge Folk Festival or hear it if we stay at home.

	I used to live with Adrian and Sarah until their family started expanding and prompted me to buy a house. Just in time too, the way house prices have gone.

In 2000/01 we tackled the kitchen and removed a chimney.

The current project is to use Solar Power for some of the house's electricity, probably just lighting. So far we have solar panels and an inverter, but missing essential batteries and control circuit.
