Hobart Road Anti-Social Behaviour

We have had an on-going problem with a small group of youths, most of who live in Hobart or Suez roads. Previous episodes are believed to include: Stolen items from bicycles, broken front window, broken rear car window, car vandalism, throwing items and kicking balls at cars, houses and windows. Therefore we started a log of the problems.

2004
Sunday 10th October.
14:30: Large size football twice kicked deliberately with force at main front window of house. Group eventually moved off after confrontation.

Saturday 16th October
Evening: Ringing doorbell and running off.

Sat 16 / Sun 17 - At sometime, throwing tomato against house.

Tuesday 19th. Fresh grafitti on wheelie bin noticed.

Thursday 28th October. Both dust caps removed from rear car tyres in the drive.

Monday November 1st. Returning from weekend away, only Halloween evidence is tangerine thrown at the house. Probably got off lightly.

Sat 6th November 6:30pm, younger children jumping in the hedge.

Brett

Thursday 25th. Almost every evening this week, Adam, Brett plus one other of similar age have been terrorising the street, playing chase through all the front gardens, jumping in the hedges, climbing on top of bins and over parked cars. Adam is the main culprit with Brett copying.

2005
was proving to be more trouble free...

May 2nd
Older group of boys, two footballs. Kicking into people's gardens and climbing in to retrieve them. Then started deliberately kicking at houses.

October 20th
After a quiet summer, group started kicking football at our house and windows.

2006
Am pleased to say very little trouble.
